Their application in spacecraft engineering has grown significantly due to the stringent requirements of space environments which include extreme temperatures, vacuum, radiation, and weight constraints. This paper explores the fundamental properties of aerogels, the types of aerogels relevant to space missions, specific applications in spacecraft systems (thermal insulation, cryogenic storage, dust capture, etc.), current challenges, and future research directions. zThe review synthesizes findings from NASA, ESA, and other research to demonstrate how aerogels enhance mission reliability, performance, and cost...

Reflection on Teaching Internship  Experience Image source: Shutterstock Rana Rasheed Physical science Reg no : 243240113253 Teaching internship is a vital component of the B.Ed. programme, as it provides prospective teachers with valuable classroom exposure and helps bridge the gap between theory and practice. My teaching internship at Aluva Higher Secondary School, Marampally, was a memorable, challenging, and enriching phase of my professional development as a Physical Science teacher. During the internship period, I taught Physical Science to high school students, with a major focus on Chemistry for Class VIII. At the initial stage, I felt nervous about classroom management and student engagement. However, through continuous practice, careful observation, and the guidance and support of my mentor teachers, I gradually gained confidence. The students were friendly, cooperative, and enthusiastic, which created a positive and supportive learning environment. Their active particip...
